Motocross Kade

Kade had his 2nd Moto Cross Race; it was at OMC as well. He did a lot better than his first race. He finished 3rd overall and won another Trophy. This Trophy is taller than his first one and he is really excited.

Dusty was so proud of him he hung a new shelf in his room for his trophy's that he as won. He also put on the the shelf Kade's first picture on a motorcycle when he was just over a year old.

One thing Dusty and I have learned is Kade is very competitive. He always has to win no matter what he is doing.

Dusty got me shirt last year that I can finally understand. It says "Laundry Detergent......$8.00, Gas to Track.......$17.00, Entry Fee.......$35.00, My Kid Taking the Checkered Flag...PRICELESS

Racing

Kade did his very first OMC race. We didn't think that they would let kids with training wheels enter races, but Dusty wrote a letter asking if they would allow it and they said yes. Kade has been really excited about racing all week and was super excited come race day. He did great and took 1st in his class (mmm he was the only one in his class, so pretty easy win). Since there really wasn't a lot of kids in other classes they grouped 3 class together to do the awards. He was really cute on the track race and even took the time to slow down and wave to the cheering crowd!

Here he is with his 4th place trophy!

He had to race 2x which is pretty exhausting for the little guy. After the second go, he headed staight for the tent area and fell asleep like this! He slept throught the awards ceremony but was all grins when he woke up and saw his trophy.

Since he was the only one with training wheels he asked again if he could just have two wheels on his motorcycle....I said he had to learn how to ride his bicycle with no training wheels first! Here's to helmets, knee pads, chest protectors, gloves, googles, boots, riding pants, one nervous mom and one excited dad!

Hang Ten

Austin playing in the sand. For some reason he really likes to eat it, but then again he eats everything so this should not suprise me.

We have been having a great summer! Lots of beach fun at Lake Cascade. Kades favorite thing is surfing on the surfboard and digger holes with sand castles around the holes. Dusty's favorite thing is surfing behind the boat. Not a lot of people understand the concept until you actually see it but let me try and explain it. The boat pulls you about 5mph which creates a large wake right behind the boat. You have a very short rope that pulls you out of the water unless you are Dusty who just stand on the back of the boat on the board and catches the wake from there. Once you catch the wake, you let go of the rope and surf the wake from the boat. Confused, guess I will have to take a picture for you next time. My favorite is all of these above, except the eating of sand--sorry Austin--you are the only one!

Kade ridin

We have been having some seriously crappy weather and we were dying to get outside for a bit, so we took off Saturday to Boise in hopes of leaving the snow behind and getting some good riding in. It turned out to be a great day and Kade is doing great on his dirt bike. We met up with some of our friends and the kids had a blast and I had to look the other way because every time I would watch I would have a heart attack. Ready to ride, saftey gear on!

Papa came out to watch, and he was more of a worry wart than I was lol
The kids can't have all the fun. Papa took Dusty's bike for a spin. And Kade is trying to show papa how its done!
After the day was over, we had one worn out little boy. He has been telling us though that he only needs two wheels now...we'll see

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Our morning started out with Kade crawling into our bed at 6:30 for snuggle time. I think Kade forgot about Santa coming because we had to tell him to go into the living room to see if Santa got the oranges we set out for him and the reindeer (our Santa is on a post pregnancy diet and did not want the normal cookies and milk) He quickly came back and reported that the oranges were gone :) Kade received a snowmobile sled and a remote control helicopter--it is way to technical for him to use but he fell in love with it about a month ago and has not stopped talking about it so I went ahead and got it for him. He loves them both. After a breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast made by dad, they headed for the hill for a little sledding.
Dusty is never to old for toys...maybe a bit big but always willing to play.

I think Kade got air on the this one

Dusty got me some cross-country skiies that I am dying to try and he got a shovel for his real snowmobile.

Austin Tripp Hibbard

Introducing our sweet new addition. Austin Tripp Hibbard born Nov 10. Weigh 7lb 10oz. Delivery went great. He looks a lot like Kade with a little less hair (believe it or not) and blue eyes.
In his daddy's arms!

So far he is such a good boy....except at night. But who needs sleep when you've got this cute of a baby.

36 weeks pregnant

No I will not post a picture of my huge belly. I have been having lots of contractions that come and go, nothing consistant and they are driving me nuts. I have had no nesting instincts....when is that suppose to kick in. Yesterday Dusty asked me where the baby was going to sleep...ummmm I don't really know, then he asked me where all the baby stuff was.....ummmm again I haven't really thought about it. Oh and by the way I have not bought one case of diapers or wipes. This poor kid, I think I just lost the mom of the year award. Hopefully he will just stay put until Monday when I plan on going to Boise and getting supplies. Or if he does show up early at least he is going to be extremely loved!!
